Breakdancing has been part of the widely popular culture of Korea, popularly known as Kpop, and with this, the B-boys and B-girls of Korea have been brought into being. But what is more interesting than to feature Kpop itself in a Korean drama?

Over the Rainbow is about just another guy Kwon Hyeok-ju who recently discovers his passion for dancing and struggles to make it to the top. He encounters struggles in the form of a popular singer named Rex and his first love Jeong Hee-su. But love comes blooming amidst it all in the person of an ordinary perky girl with high dreams, Ma Sang-mi.

I’m Sorry I Love You

Sad and heavy Korean dramas don’t usually clique when it comes to avid Kpoppers like me who has loved Korea because of its being blissful and preppy. Korean dramas have usually been stereotyped as romance comedy flicks. Nevertheless, “I’m Sorry, I Love You 미안하다, 사랑한다” goes beyond the stereotype and proves that Korean dramas could go deeper down the burrow.

I Passed!

Well, I took four college entrance exams as an incoming freshman and as the average fourth year high school student, I had my Top Universities list.

  1. Ateneo de Manila University
  2. University of the Philippines
  3. De La Salle University - Manila
  4. University of Asia and the Pacific

I was never really fond of Medicine so I didn’t include UST in the list. So then I submitted all requirements to the four schools for the entrance tests hoping that I would make it.. in ADMU. Continue reading »
